Huge Crowds, Great Racing!!

The Soaring Eagle Winged Outlaw Late Model Series made it to CMS Sunday night and fans were treated to watching 2008 Hall of Famer Frank Sedar rocket his way to the win. Full details are over on the results page. A couple more updates a bit later yet Monday.

A special THANK YOU to Anderson Contracting of Vestaburg for their support of the racing progam this holiday weekend. If you need contracting or renovation services, please support the people who support racing. You can visit their website HERE.

CMS On Your Cell!

CMS takes the next big step in technology as we launch our cell phone website at http://crystalmotor.mobi It will have basic information on it including the top five of the last feature ran in each division, contact information, as well as the ability to check for updates online while on the move. Look for many other abilities as we get them 'figured out!' If you have a web enabled cell phone, take a look!

While we want you to come to the races, if you just can't get here, you still hear the the action by clicking HERE. or, for a small fee, you can watch the action on the Internet by clicking HERE.

We have Victor Reinz as the title sponsor and our co-sponsors are Engine Pro, Melling, and JE/SRP for Great Lakes Nationals. You can download GLN information and registration HERE.

The last event of the year for Crystal Motor Speedway will be September 13th in the form of the 16th Annual Great Lakes Nationals and will be sponsored by Engine Pro, Melling, JE Pistons, and Sportsman Racing Products (SRP). More information for this event and the others can be found by calling the track at 989.235.5200.

While we want you to come to the races, if you just can't get here, you still hear the the action by clicking HERE. or, for a small fee, you can watch the action on the Internet by clicking HERE.

The Video Goes PPV

While we want you to attend the races in person there will be nights you just can't make it. Races On The Web makes it possible to watch the action live on the Internet. We have it set up so you can pay the small fee of $2.99 per night in advance and then just log in come race night. Click HERE for all the details. Special thanks to Engine Pro and ARP Racing Products for their support of our video and audio programs!

ATTENTION Active Duty Military!

Crystal Motor Speedway and Races On The Web appreciate your service to our country and gladly provide access to the video feed at no charge. Email me from the links above or below with your military email and I'll send you a user name and password. We salute you all.

. We use Paypal to collect our small $2.99 fee and you can get to the payment page by going HERE. You don't need to be a Paypal member to use Paypal. When you get to the Paypal page, there is a link for non members on the right hand side. We use Paypal because of its long history as an Internet payment service, being the prime payment method of most ebay buyers. After making your payment, you will see a "Back to Races On The Web" link and it allows you to make a member name and password. When you are ready to log in to view the video, simply go HERE and log in. If you have a problem, email me from the email address that you used for registering and I'll be here to help you. Every registration is sent to me and I can help IF you use that email to contact me. Thanks.

We also can provide indviduals the ability to stream their own live or previously recorded video on our video servers for a very nominal fee. This is a way to share your wedding video with friends and family that could be at the ceremony or the fun at the last party. If you could use such a service, drop me a note from the link above.

Let's Try Again

A lot of effort went into the site that this one is replacing and I am truly sorry that I am going to have to abandon it. The main reason simply boils down to my inability to work with all the fine details that site entailed. It is no secret I have a long standing vision problem that seems to be getting worse. I went to have my eyes tested while I was in Michigan last week. Long story short, my ability to read is diminishing and it is quite possible I won't be able to drive in the near future. I'm not looking for sympathy but explaining why things haven't gone as hoped. Many pages of the old site will remain intact and in use. It was a good design but it wasn't working out for me and that means it wasn't working out for you. My friend Lee Wonnacott put a ton of time doing the original design but his eyes are better than mine.

This is quite probably the last year I will be doing the website. I feel kind of like Tom Landry of the Dallas Cowboys in that I have been the only webmaster of the site since its inception. It will be hard to pass it on but some things can't be helped. Rest assured I will find some one to take over that has the passion and dedication that CMS fans deserve. The photo booth concession is also for sale. Email me. One last note for faithful readers. I appreciate the notes and steady 'conversations' from my steady emailers. You will always be in my thoughts.
