Twenty one Kentucky Fried Chicken late models took to the track and heats went to Zach Olger, Dean Huizenga, and Tom Dusen. It was Rob Brillhart and Zach Olger starting on the front row and those two were side by side but eventually Olger took the lead.
The first caution of the race fell as a couple of cars stopped in turn four. It was all Olger as the checkered flag waived. The rest of the top five look like this. On second was Tom Dusen, third went to Kyle Borgman while Scott Baker and Ryan VanderVeen rounded out the top five.
