There was a modification to the rules concerning transponders. While it was changed in the rules, I failed to post here it here. This rule was modified April 21st, 2015. It says: "18. Transponders must be mounted on the right side and the back of rear axle and in an orange transponder pouch. If your transponder falls off you may not be scored and you will be responsible for replacing the transponder.Any racer caught trying to modify or deliberately changing location of transponder will be disqualified."  Check with your tech inspector if you have questions.

Outlaw Late Models - Sept 4, 2011

Night number two of the two day show at the Crystal Motor Speedway welcomed the Outlaw Late Models and 38 of the best modified drivers in the state of Michigan. A cool night led to a very fast race track as 20 modifieds took to the track for their 20 lap feature event on Sunday night.

Milt Montgomery was the one to beat early holding off Shannon Fisk and Travis Stemler for the first half of the feature event. As the race went on, Montgomery’s car started to lose the handle and eventually he would have to give up the lead to Fisk who would hold on to pick up the win in convincing fashion.

Travis Stemler would come home second, Milt Montgomery would hold on for second while fourth went to Tim Stemler and rounding out the top five was Joe Fowler.

B feature winners were John McClure and Justin Fleming while heats went to Jerry Hunt, Travis Stemler, Shannon Fisk and Aaron Raby.
