| It takes time to put together a weekly magazine - regardless of the fact it is printed on paper or posted electronically. Saturday night track results are usually fully updated by Monday afternoon. Special features, such as weekend events on Sunday or a Monday holiday will be available on the following Wednesday. |

May 14 - Next week at Crystal Motor Speedway is a full slate of all six divisions, sponsored by Mittler Supply of Grand Rapids.
A reverse race is also in the schedule which promises to be an interesting event. Gates open at 4:30 and racing begins
at 7:30PM. Adult admission to the grandstand is $10 and kids 4-11 are $4. Pit passes are $25. If you can’t make the races,
don’t forget you can listen to them on Internet radio over at
StreamNetRADIO.com starting about 7PM. Further information
can be obtained by calling the office at (989) 235-5200.
We are gaining experience with the StreamNet webcast of the races and can now offer our advertisers 30, 60, and 90 second spots at a very reasonable price. There is a small set up fee, and the per price cost is as little as $5 each week. Each spot includes a graphic link here on the CMS site and on the StreamNet player window.
Photo Trophies Available Again. Got a favorite car and driver?

Why not purchase a 'Photo Trophy' and get it
personalized with a signature? We started this service from the photo booth last year and everybody really likes them. We have
designs for about 20 of the drivers so far, and will be adding another six or so each week for the next several weeks. Some
of the designs feature manufacturer or model badging, others are storms, flags, and flags. If you want a custom design,
drop your written request at the photo booth and we can have it next week. We
currently have designs in stock for these drivers:
Site Improvements In Progress
After a half season or so of madness, it becomes obvious that an attempt to hack our server last year corrupted the CMS site much more than we had thought. On top of that, it's just time to do some housecleaning. So... expect the site may be down for a few hours this week as we take everything down and replace it as it should be seen. Thanks for understanding.
See you at the track next week.
Chilly was the word for the weather but HOT was the only way to describe the racing Saturday night at Crystal Motor Speedway. H & H Excavating of Crystal was the evening’s sponsor.

Flinn Stock Class Standings
Pos Driver & Car # / Points
*Tie for position
Larry Bulson battled Cody Ordway nearly all race long before bagging his first ever feature win. Corey Wise had his
hands full of Vernie Hunt before landing third with Kent Strong Tyler Brillhart, Jacob Raby, Harley Farkle, Anthony
Fellows, and Kory Maurice following in the top ten. Hunt went home with a heat win as well.

Fowler First - Claimed!
In a division that is full of real potential winners, it is near unto impossible to pick who might bring home the feature
in the Engine Pro IMCA Modifieds. Joe Fowler worked his way forward from mid pack to take the lead late and the held off
a charging Gary VanderMark to bag his second feature win of the young season. Randy Ruesink chalked up third, followed by
Rob Brillhart, Clifford Denman, Chad Maurer, Buzz Lawrence, Chad Burke, Nate Jones, and Chad Wernette.
Denman and Jerry
Pace added B Main wins to their stats while heats fell to Myron DeYoung, Paul Grosnickle, Fowler, and Rusty Zeigler.
FEATURE WINNER - Joe Fowler
LATE MODELS - Stout Notches Third of Season
Latel Model Class Standings
Pos Driver & Car # / Points
*Tie for position
As exciting as the IMCA race was, it didn’t hold a candle to the Late Model race. Brock Cogswell grabbed the early lead and
looked to be the man to beat. His line was clean, his setup near perfect, and he was moving flawlessly around the track.
Once again, the threat came from mid pack, this time in the form of Rick Stout. Stout was moving forward fast, picking off
cars and slowly gaining on Cogswell when he was tangled in the top of the first turn. It took a wrecker to separate the
two cars and later inspection revealed his left side rear shock was bent nearly 90 degrees… but once he took off, no one
ever would have thought the damage was that severe.
On the restart, Stout quickly closed the gap between himself and
Cogswell and within a couple laps, he slid around him and was gone. Cogswell had to settle for second after a fine run
with Carl Ries, Scott Haney, Scott Baker, Tom Dusen, Rusty Seaver, Bill Trueblood, Jr., Tom Sprague, Jr., and Jay Van Dyke
following. The win was his third in four features so far in 2007.
Ryan VanderVeen picked up the B Main win with Cogswell,
Trueblood, and Brian Nickerson posing for heat victories.
FEATURE WINNER - Rick Stout

Griffin Holds On For Win!
Over in the Pro Stock feature, divisional rookie Robert Griffin found himself in the lead with some very intimidating
challengers hot on his trail. Jeff Reist, Barry Rinard, Vern Buskirk and Chaney Newland all were in striking distance
but Griffin kept his cool and took the win. Todd Bush was next, followed by Brett Hollenbeck, Pete Hundey, Mike Husted
and Ray Wood.
Kevin Rohn, Randy Woodbury, and Calvin Castle landed heat wins.

FEATURE WINNER - Bob Griffin
Raby Takes Another - Points List Shows Three Way Tie at First
Pro Truck Class Standings
Pos Driver & Car # / Points
*Tie for position
Pro Truck action saw Aaron Raby bring home his second feature win in 2007 after holding off 2006 division champ Tim Wood
and Jamie McCormick. Scott Nieman brought home fourth, followed by Rodney Heikkila, Chris Verhaar, Jerry Koons, Andrew
Fidler, Tim Hansen, and Charles Perry. Wood took heat gold.
The very close action of this class, coupled with a smaller number of competitors, has created many 'ties for position'
in the standings. It's still not too late to put YOUR Pro Truck on the track and earn a respectible points position
by the end of the season. Come on . . . join the fun!

FEATURE WINNER - Aaron Raby
Dennis Prevails over VanderMark Despite Equipment Failures
Street Stock Class Standings
Pos Driver & Car # / Points
*Tie for position
The Street Stock race was the final event of the night and it was every bit as exciting as the rest as Derrick Dennis
took the early lead and then had to fight both a broken power steering belt and a hard charging Mike Vandermark, Jr. to
bring home his first 2007 win. Gary Buskirk brought home a third, followed by Bryan Craigmyle, Larry Kosloski, Tony Vinton,
Al Kiester, Scott Crook, Thomas Stevens, and Mickey Carman, Jr.
Dennis and Buskirk posed for heat win photos.

FEATURE WINNER - Derrick Dennis
