July 28 Results
Well, Big V departed early due to a medical problem, so the race descriptions are being provided by Roger Williams. More complete text will follow later.

Cody Ordway came from row six to win another feature.
Despite being involved in a late race caution which resulted in heavy
front end damage he was able to limp his car into victory lane. He
beat out the return of a hard charging Harley Farkle, Kent Strong,
Adam Soule (who had to come from the back after being an earlier
caution car), and Tyler Brillhart.

Bowen Starts A String -
Returns To Victory Lane For Second Week
Brennan Bowen picks up his second in a row from row six in a
tightly packed feature event. Jason Borton and Neal Brooks battled for
the top spot for the first few laps but Bowen was stalking the bottom
line to find himself leading with less than ten laps to go.
Brooks
finished second, with Luke Olger, Rusty Zeigler, and Carl Thayer, the
remainder of the top 5. An earlier incident had Myron DeYoung spinning
and collecting points leader Joe Fowler. Joe was not the same after
the wreck which knocked out DeYoung.
Late Models Return To VanDyke's Second Win -

Haney was spun twice in turn four which resulted in pile ups that collected a number of
cars. Olger, Seaver and stout were involved in the second one, but
where able to fight mangled cars to get top five finishes.

Edges Dennis With Seven Remaining
Calvin Castle led the first 10 laps in an affair that went
green to checkered for 25 laps. Derrick Dennis took over the lead
around the halfway mark. With about 7 laps to go, it was Vern Buskirk
working the low side every circuit that found himself at the point.
Dennis was able to hold onto second, followed by Reist, Kevin Rohn,
and Mike Corder.

Gary Dancer led the first few circuits of the feature
event before Kevin Crawford Jr took over the lead and never looked
back. Jamie McCormick worked hard to gain the second spot. Tim
Wood, Chris Verhaar, and Scott Nieman completed the top five.

Street Stock Class Standings

The biggest field of the year saw the same result. Mike
Vandermark picking up another win; his ninth of the season. Scott
Crook and Dana Rohn battled early, but it didn't take long before
Vandermark rolled his way to where he is most comfortable; up front.
Gary buskirk took a hard fought second place followed by Mickey Carmen
Jr, Al Keister, and Dan Minikey Jr.
