| It takes time to put together a weekly magazine - regardless of the fact it is printed on paper or posted electronically. Saturday night track results are usually fully updated by Monday afternoon. Special features, such as weekend events on Sunday or a Monday holiday will be available on the following Wednesday. |

July 7 Results
Saturday night at Crystal Motor Speedway was nearly a packed house and was sponsored by area Auto Value Stores. The MORA Outlaw Mini Sprints were on hand with roughly 15 cars and the feature was all John Lehn. Lehn seems to have a stranglehold on the clay oval at CMS and once he took the lead in the feature, he never looked back. Paul Buckler was second, followed by Floyd Roush, Andrew Brock, Doug Roush, Don Steineback, Tim Guenthardt, Brian Ward, Bruce Dezelski, and Drew Stander. Lehn also claimed the fast car dash and took his heat. Buckler also won a heat.

Farkle Moving Up ....
Flinn Stock Class Standings
*Tie for position
Cody Ordway has been a dominating force in the Flinn Stock, the
beginner's class at Crystal Motor Speedway. Ordway holds a commanding
point's lead but none of that mattered Saturday night. Kent Strong has
also come on tough as late and the feature wound the two slugging it
out amongst themselves most of the event. Strong finally prevailed
over Ordway with Harley Farkle waiting in the wings in case the
leaders bobbled. Larry Bulson brought home a fourth, followed by Tyler
Brillhart, Rich Stearns, Kenneth Dittenber, Gavin Parks, Anthony
Fellows, and Wayne Draper.
Bulson and Strong also notched heat wins.

Nieman Takes It From Pole -
Fights Off Veterans For First Feature Win
Ben Nieman has been improving the past few weeks in the Engine Pro
IMCA Modifieds and when he ended on the outside pole for the feature,
many knew he would be the man to beat. Nieman took the early lead and
just as he would build a comfortable lead, a caution would remove it
and even worse, with each caution, it brought the heavy hitters closer
and closer to the front. The race must have seemed twice as long as
normal to a driver in search of his first feature when the final
caution of the event planted Brad Roberts, Myron DeYoung, and Joe
Fowler right on his back bumper, a virtual 'Murder's Row.' When the
green flew one last time, Nieman jumped out to the lead once more and
found the perfect lane and brought home his first IMCA feature win.
DeYoung was second, followed by Roberts, Fowler, Cliff Denman, Randy
Ruesink, Melvin Allen, Chad Maurer, Roger Flinn III, and Brennan
Bowen.
Maurer and Fowler both took B Main wins while heat wins fell to
Roberts, Toby Steele, Jeramie Raby, and Nieman.
Seaver Overtakes For Win
Pos Driver & Car # / Points
For a bit it looked like Jay Van Dyke was going to make up for the mechanical disappointment he
suffered last week. Van Dyke was off and flying in the early going
with Scott Baker shortly behind. With some mighty big guns a bit
deeper in the field, the front pack struggled to stay in the lead but it
wasn't long before Rick Stout, Rusty Seaver, and Brock Cogswell made
their way to the front. Van Dyke, Seaver, and Stout could have been
covered with a mighty small blanket for several laps when Van Dyke
fell back and off the pace once again.
Seaver and Stout maintained the
battle in the classic style for which these two are known. When the
final flag fell, it was Seaver, Stout, Baker, Cogswell, Troy
VanderVeen, Jim Fairbanks, Scott Haney, Paul Tucker, Carl Ries, and
Jack Emmons.
Scott Nelson took the B Main and heat gold went to Van
Dyke, Seaver, and Ries.

Others Race For Second
*Tie for position
Despite a large number of Pro Stocks going home last week in shambles,
they were back in full force this week in what ended up being a fight
between the point's leaders. Dick Reynolds, Kevin Rohn, and Mike
Husted all tussled for position in the early going. A caution took out
several cars including Greg Mandoka, Bob Griffin, Todd Bush, and Jon
Willmore. Once back under green, divisional point's leader, Vern
Buskirk began working his way forward with Jeff Reist and Chaney
Newland close behind. Buskirk took the lead and opened up couple
lengths lead as the battle for second and third raged behind him. When
it was done, it was Buskirk, Newland, Reist, Reynolds, Mike Corder,
Husted, Rohn, Andy Hoisington, Gordie Snyder, and Barry Rinard.
Rinard
also took the B Main with heats going to Buskirk, Reynolds, and
Hoisington.

Wood Goes For Win
Pro Truck Class Standings
*Tie for position
The Pro Trucks took the field after the MORA sprints and Tim Wood took command quickly. The 2006 division champ had jumped
out to a decent lead when Tim Hansen came out of turn four, mixing it up with several others in the chase for the lead and
went over on his side and nearly on his roof down the front stretch. Hansen immediately began to exit the truck and was
checked out shaken but alright by the track emergency personnel. His truck was destroyed in the wreck.
Once the track was clear, Wood had to fight off repeated attacks by Aaron Raby and Gary Dancer but held on to notch his
second 2007 feature win. Dancer went home with second, followed by Raby, Shad Parks, Rodney Heikkila, Jamie McCormick,
Jacob Headley, Kevin Crawford, Jr., Jerry Koons, and Hansen.
Koons took the heat win.

FEATURE WINNER - Tim Wood
VanderMark Adds To Win List -
Dann Rohn Shows The Way Early
Street Stock Class Standings
Pos Driver & Car # / Points
*Tie for position
Danna Rohn lead the opening rounds of the Street Stock feature but
soon gave way to Mike Vandermark who had come from the back.
Vandermark has been on a string of wins and carefully worked his way
to the front and once there, never looked back. Mickey Carman and
Bryan Craigmyle gave the leader a go but Vandermark brought home
another win.
Carman and Craigmyle were followed by Ryan Kent, Kevin
Dard, Al Kiester, Gary Buskirk, James Sagryn, Thomas Stevens, and
Lloyd Long. Vandermark and Rohn claimed heat wins.

FEATURE WINNER - Mike Vandermark Jr
