FEATURE WINNER - Cody Ordway

The Flinn Stocks only ran a feature in order to save on their equipment and it was another familiar face that walked away with the checkered flag. It was a great three car race between early leader Richard Stearns, Cody Ordway, and Adam Soule. Soule got caught up in a late race incident which took him out of contention for the race win. Ordway was able to make the right moves and pick up another feature win and sealed his status in the record books by claiming the championship in the Flinn Stock class.

Larry Bulson grabbed second place with Stearns, Nick Messner, Tony Fellows, Jordan Sattler, Kyle Shattuck, Gavin Parks, Bob Jackson, and Scott Kimball the top ten.

Maurer Takes First '07 Checker -
Mods Champion Still Undecided

FEATURE WINNER - Chad Maurer

This class still has two more point nights remaining before we crown a champion, but the field was hungry to receive a feature checkered flag. Nate Jones led much of the feature before an incident between him and Jim Hale Jr sent Hale to the pits and Jones to the rear of the field. This handed the lead over to Chad Mauer. Mauer was able to hold off an attrition filled feature to claim his first feature win of the 2007 season. Only five cars made it to the finish of the 20 cars that started. Chad Wernette had a second place finish followed by point leader Joe Fowler, Rusty Zeigler, and Smokey Grosnickle.

In the pits but still managing a top ten finish was Carl Thayer, Cliff Denman, Nate jones, Buzz Lawrence, and Jason Borton. B-Mains went to Josh Borton and Denman.

Heat gold was awarded to Robert Putt, Greg Wiles, and Denman.

The remaining top ten were; Steele, Chad Wernette, Rusty Ziegler, Greg Wiles, and point leader Joe Fowler. B-main accolades went to Josh Borton and Wiles.

The heat races were won by Jimmy Hale, Vandermark, Randy Ruesink, and Putt.

FEATURE WINNER - Zach Olger

The Late Models had 26 pull into the pit area to compete for an attempt to run the feature event. After a full season, the point battle came down to Rick Stout and Rusty Seaver. Neither cars were able to make their way to the front of the feature event as we're accustomed to seeing. Scott Haney led the early going of the feature event and spent time battling with Carl Ries before Ries dropped off of turn two giving up some of his spots. Haney didn't have to wait long before Zack Olger made his way along the bottom of the track to make the pass for the lead.

Once the blue #0 made his way to the lead, there was no looking back as Olger added to his 2007 win total. Jeff Kohn, who finished second in his B-main, worked his way to a second place finish. Kohn was followed by Haney, Jay Van Dyke, and Paul Tucker. The remainder of the top ten included Ries, Brock Cogswell, Rusty Seaver, Ryan Vanderveen, and Mark Anderson. With an ill-handling car and an eleventh place finish, Rick Stout was able to secure the 2007 Late Model Championship.

The B-main went to Dean Huizenga. Heats were won by Andersen, Jim Fairbanks, and Tom Dusen.

Rohn Wins Battle Against Reist -
Buskirk Tops '07 Chart

FEATURE WINNER - Kevin Rohn

The Pro Stocks Provided the most exciting feature of the night. Bob Griffin jumped out to the early advantage, But quickly found himself being challenged by rookie Kevin Rohn. The pair battled door-to-door for nearly 15 laps before Griffin caught a piece of the front stretch wall which ended his night. Rohn inherited the lead, but it wasn't long before Jeff Reist fought his way to make a bid for the lead. Laps ran out as Kevin Rohn won be mere feet over Reist for the win.

Mike Husted finished third with 2007 point Champion Vern Buskirk fourth and Todd bush fifth. Six through ten were Andy Hoisington, Gordy Snyder, Barry Rinard, Chaney Newland, and Greg Madoka.

Mandoka received the B-main gold. Heats were won by Snyder and Derrick Dennis.

FEATURE WINNER - Aaron Raby

The final event of the night also featured the closest point battle as Jamie McCormick and Tim Wood were separated with just one point heading into the evening's action. Kevin Crawford Jr was the early leader and before long, Chris Verhaar was challenging the inside lane. However, contact caused Crawford to come to rest against the wall on the front straight. Verhaar went to the pits but Crawford was able to continue with a damaged truck. It was obvious that the truck no longer handled as it had earlier and, eventually, Aaron Raby was able to make his way to the front and pick up another victory.

McCormick was able to finish in the runner-up and secure his first ever Championship as a rookie in the trucks. He spent 17 years as a street stock driver previously. Crawford was able to hold on to third followed by Wood and Chuck Perry.

The remainder of the top ten included Jacob Headley, Tim Hanson, Jim Hale, Gary Dancer, and Chris Verhaar. The heat went to Raby.

FEATURE WINNER - Dan Minikey Jr

The Street Stocks have become increasingly strong throughout the 2007 season. Point leader Mike Vandermark Jr. broke during hot laps and was unable to compete in any of the racing program. However, he had such a large point lead that he was still able to clinch his first Street Stock Championship. As for the feature, It was Dan Minikey Jr who was able to move through traffic and pick up his first ever feature win. It was a well-deserved feature win as he outran a hard-charging Gary Buskirk to take the win. Both drivers complimented each other for the clean racing throughout the feature event.

Buskirk took the second spot followed by Larry Kosloski, Mickey Carmen, Steve Buskirk, Brian Craigmyle, Scott Crook, Lloyd Long, Danna Rohn, and Al Keister.

The B-main was taken by CJ Reisbig who also won a heat race. The other heat was won by Buskirk.
