Long Time CMS Employees/Racers Need Thoughts and Prayers

While I do not have current conditions, those in attendance saw Neil Zeigler, a long time employee at CMS and that night as a driver in the Flinn Stock division, be involved an accident. Neil was taken to a local hospital and then, according to sources I trust, was taken to a Lansing hospital for a possible collapsed lung and suspected rib injuries. I was also told that Neil was fully conscious and aware... just uncomfortable with his rib cage injury. Another long time racer turned CMS employee, Bob Neiman, is in an Ann Arbor hospital with a cardiac problem. Bob is the Late Model tech man and is probably one of the most respected men in the pits. He always had a smile and a handshake for me when ever we met. Please keep these men in your thoughts and prayers. If anyone has updated information, PLEASE email me so I can pass the info unto the track fans. Thanks.

While we want you to come to the races, if you just can't get here, you still hear the the action by clicking HERE. or, for a small fee, you can watch the action on the Internet by clicking HERE.

Races On The Web, the people that first brought you easy to use in car cameras is proud to announce the next generation of cameras. Drivers can rent a camera for a heat or a feature for a very small fee payable after you get your CD with your your race on it. One camera is available for use this week but we expect three in service for both the 3rd and 5th of July. Stop at the little blue bus for details.

Due to a number of growing health reasons, the photo concession is for sale. Email me. The same reasons has me looking for the right person to do the website next year. I'm not looking for just anyone to do this but rather the right person to do this. I'm not looking for a "Frontpage magician." I'll teach the right person. A firm grip of the language and grammar are a must. Email me with a note telling me why you might be right for the job.

The Video Goes PPV

While we want you to attend the races in person there will be nights you just can't make it. Races On The Web makes it possible to watch the action live on the Internet. We have it set up so you can pay the small fee of $2.99 per night in advance and then just log in come race night. Click HERE for all the details. Special thanks to Engine Pro and ARP Racing Products for their support of our video and audio programs!

ATTENTION Active Duty Military!

Crystal Motor Speedway and Races On The Web appreciate your service to our country and gladly provide access to the video feed at no charge. Email me from the links above or below with your military email and I'll send you a user name and password. We salute you all.

.

We use Paypal to collect our small $2.99 fee and you can get to the payment page by going HERE. You don't need to be a Paypal member to use Paypal. When you get to the Paypal page, there is a link for non members on the right hand side. We use Paypal because of its long history as an Internet payment service, being the prime payment method of most ebay buyers. After making your payment, you will see a "Back to Races On The Web" link and it allows you to make a member name and password. When you are ready to log in to view the video, simply go HERE and log in. If you have a problem, email me from the email address that you used for registering and I'll be here to help you. Every registration is sent to me and I can help IF you use that email to contact me. Thanks.

About Our Live Internet Radio and Video

A lot of work has gone into bringing live Internet audio and Internet video to our racing friends. The track has consistantly worked with StreamNet Radio and Races On The Web to allow local fans to listen or watch on nights they just can't make it to the track and for a growing number of fans across America and the globe. I have received many emails from our military men and women thanking us for the ability to see what is going on at home.

While there is a small weekly charge to watch the video, the audio will be provided at no charge, thanks to our generous friends at Engine Pro and ARP Racing Products. These services are not meant to replace coming to the track but in there tough times, we hope you appreciate that the track allows us to provide these services at little to no charge.

We also can provide indviduals the ability to stream their own live or previously recorded video on our video servers for a very nominal fee. This is a way to share your wedding video with friends and family that could be at the ceremony or the fun at the last party. If you could use such a service, drop me a note from the link above.

Let's Try Again

A lot of effort went into the site that this one is replacing and I am truly sorry that I am going to have to abandon it. The main reason simply boils down to my inability to work with all the fine details that site entailed. It is no secret I have a long standing vision problem that seems to be getting worse. I went to have my eyes tested while I was in Michigan last week. Long story short, my ability to read is diminishing and it is quite possible I won't be able to drive in the near future. I'm not looking for sympathy but explaining why things haven't gone as hoped. Many pages of the old site will remain intact and in use. It was a good design but it wasn't working out for me and that means it wasn't working out for you. My friend Lee Wonnacott put a ton of time doing the original design but his eyes are better than mine.

This is quite probably the last year I will be doing the website. I feel kind of like Tom Landry of the Dallas Cowboys in that I have been the only webmaster of the site since its inception. It will be hard to pass it on but some things can't be helped. Rest assured I will find some one to take over that has the passion and dedication that CMS fans deserve. The photo booth concession is also for sale. Email me. One last note for faithful readers. I appreciate the notes and steady 'conversations' from my steady emailers. You will always be in my thoughts.
